Self-government as a political and legal basis of civil society and the state

The article considers the issue of self-government as the basis for the formation of civil society and the formation of the political and legal foundation of the state. Self-government is assessed as the main factor in the creation of social activity of the individual and public self-regulation. Assessment of a person’s social activity from the point of view of a sociopsychological approach. Self-government is assessed as a special form of socio-psychological need of society, expressed in the manifestation of active personalities and the formation of a social community. It is concluded that the formation of society and the strengthening of the state is more effective, as a result of the realization of the socio-psychological needs of society, through the introduction of self-government into the processes of making and implementing managerial decisions on issues of vital activity.
