Sanitary-microbiological characteristics of indices in the premises of purity of class B and D of treatment and prophylactic organizations

Hundreds of thousands of health workers are engaged in unfavorable and harmful working conditions. In this regard, the issue of protecting and strengthening the health of a medical worker, forming his attitude to his own health and motivation for a healthy lifestyle is of particular importance. By the nature of the activity, a complex of factors of biological, chemical and physical nature influences a doctor (and also an average and junior medical worker). Physicians are experiencing a high neuro-emotional tension. In addition, in the process of professional activity, a medical worker may undergo functional overstrain of individual organs and body systems. Medical workers, having a relatively low incidence of illness in cases of incapacity for work, are ill longer than other categories of workers and employees, and the average length of incapacity for work is higher. In the study of the health status of medical workers, there are certain difficulties associated with the lack of official data on their incidence, so there is virtually no reliable information on the production-related and occupational morbidity of medical workers in our country.
