In this paper, the main aspects of sanitary control in the field of nutrition are considered. General directions of sanitary supervision are described. The structure of organizational and methodical work on food hygiene is given. The principles of planning and methodological support of sanitary control, as well as responsibility for violation of sanitary legislation are reviewed.
