The article is devoted to Sanxingdui Bronze Age Culture that was situated at Chengdu Basin and represented the independent centre of civilization practically simultaneous to Shang's one. This culture was formed by local Neolithic dwellers as well as Sino-Tibet-Burmese migrants from the North and Austric tribes - from the East. The great part of bronze implements consists of anthropomorphic sculptures, or (more frequently) of heads-and-masks which were used in the worship of ancestors. With the help of retrospective method, Sanxingdui Culture was connected with ethno genesis of Yi People.
