Secrets of patriotism: why university years matter

This article examines the importance of the formation of patriotism during university years. The role of familiarizing learners with different points of view and developing critical thinking in students to realize their national identity and gaining practical experience to strengthen the sense of civic responsibility is reported. The influence of active patriotism of a student at the university on the formation of future civic engagement is analyzed. On this basis, a conclusion is drawn about the prospects for the formation of the next generation of interested and patriotic citizens because of self-realization among students.
