The possibility of a significant increase in the level of antibacterial peptide warnerin production by ultraviolet irradiation of cells producing strain Staphylococcus warneri IEGM KL-1 is proved. The probability of chromosomal localization of genes of synthesis, modification, and secretion of the peptide lantibiotic family warnerin is showed.
