Breeding-oriented analysis of the genetic value of parental forms of sunflower hybrids on the resistance to phomopsis pathogen

The results of estimation of affection of breeding lines and hybrids of sunflower by the Phomopsis pathogen in the period of 2007-2009 in the conditions of artificial infectious background are presented. The method of differen-tiation of material is used on the area of sunflower stem surface affected by Phomopsis pathogen in accordance with the confidence interval of LSD. Lines Kh 526 R, Kh 720 R, Kh 480 R are identified as resistant among paternal forms and Skh 1010 A, Skh 908 A, Skh 4021 A, Skh 2111 A - among maternal ones, what is conditioned authentically by the least level of Phomopsis affection.
