High-temperature stress is one of the significant abiotic factors affecting plant productivity. Under the influence of hyperthermia, the rate of chemical reactions changes, the intensification of free-radical processes occurs, the change in the structure of protein molecules is noted, the permeability of membranes increases, the interaction between lipids and proteins, complementary chains of nucleic acids, hormones and their receptors are disturbed. The survival of an organism depends on the effectiveness of its protective systems. Antioxidant system is the main system in protecting plants from adverse environmental factors. Due to the increase in the frequency and intensity of abiotic stressors, a need to mobilize the activity of the antioxidant system arises. The aim of the work was investigation of selenium antioxidant and kinetin growth regulator effect on the activity of red currant antioxidant system and the intensity of membrane lipid peroxidation (LPO) under the action of hyperthermia. The object of study was a red currant variety Dana from the genetic collection of the Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Breeding. It is shown that selenium and kinetin in their combined and separate use in hyperthermia intensify the activity of the catalase enzyme in 1.46-2.36 times, against 1.36 in controls. On the background of a higher catalase activity compared to the control, in the variants with treatments under the influence of stress, a slight increase in the level of the antioxidant proline was noted by 7.6-20.7%, whereas in the control by 41.0%. Proline is accumulated under the influence of stress, to neutralize reactive oxygen species. One of the reasons for its accumulation is insufficient activity of enzyme systems. The changes in the activity of the antioxidant system under the influence of treatments in hyperthermia reduced the level of hydrogen peroxide accumulation in 1.2-1.5 times and hampered the PML development. Thus, it is shown that on the background of modification of antioxidant activity under the influence of kinetin and selenium in hyperthermia there is a decrease in the level of reactive oxygen forms in the cells and tissues of the leaf and their negative effect on membrane lipoperoxidation.
