Agriculture of Buryatia: current state and prospects for development

In the era of political and financial instability it is important for the national economy of Russia to achieve the required level of food security. This objectively requires the revival, strengthening and progressive development of domestic agriculture - the main industry in the food supply system of the population. The quality of development of the agricultural sector in each of the regions of Russia is of tremendous importance on a national scale. The basic parameters of the state and development of agriculture of the Republic of Buryatia are studied. The emphasis is on determining the prospects for improving the efficiency of agricultural production in the region.
