Agricultural industry of the Volgograd region in terms of the mode of economic sanctions

The article deals with the consequences of the ban on imports of some agricultural products in the context of the application of special economic measures to ensure the security of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the study is to identify qualitative and quantitative relations between the levels of production of certain agricultural products and the volume of its exports beyond the Volgograd region. We have analyzed the level of agricultural production in the periods before and after sanctions, as well as the dynamics of export of agricultural products in the similar periods. We have assessed the appropriateness of measures taken in the region to implement the program of import substitution; revealed the dependence of the level of production and export in the context of the restrictions on the importation of products.
