Semantic structure of the concept "friendship" in English paremiology

This article is devoted to the implementation of the concept of "friendship"in English paremiology. For many years, in the works dealing with the issues of this section of linguistics, it was argued that proverbs, sayings, sayings are nationally specific units of the language that accumulate the cultural potential of the people. The paremiological fund contains a common layer of universalisms - proverbial expressions, the semantic and syntactic structure of which fully or partially coincides-etymologically representing mutual tracing papers, borrowings from classical languages, and Biblical texts.
