The article describes the semantic field LABOUR based on the materials on the dialects of Yenisei Siberia. The core and the periphery of the field were identified. The method of a field analysis revealed the ethnic and cultural information related to the assessment of work and intensity of labour activity, attitude to work; motivation, imaginative and expressive characteristics of the concept «labour» in Yenisei Siberia people's culture.
