Semantics and grammar of multifunctional units (on the example of the lexeme all): linguodidactic aspect

The article deals with lexico-semantic variants of polyfunctional lexem “vsyo” (‘all’) which can play the role of an adverb or a particle; the basic forms of its usage are analyzed and the part of system of exercises on presentation and activization of this lexical unit in oral and written communication of foreign students is presented. We explain the necessity of studying of polyfunctional units in the course of Russian as a foreign language as far as along with intonation they play important role in oral discourse. The system of tasks and exercises implemented in the frame of functional-communicative grammar allows gradually build to foreign students the necessary language skills of using of the lexem “vsyo” in speech reception as well as in speech production. The tasks consider semantic, stylistic characteristics of lexem “vsyo”, its paradigmatic and syntagmatic features.
