In the article the short characteristic of functional and semantic category of inexpressible is given, means of its expression and characteristics are mentioned, comparison of semantics of inexpressible with the related phenomena as semantics of incomprehensible and hidden is carried out, their common and specific features are revealed on the material of a scientific discourse and Internet communication.
