Semantic of ritual meal in Russian and French paremias of hospitality

In this paper, using Russian and French paremias the hospitality reveals the essence of these relations - establishing and maintaining social ties. In various traditions of hospitality guests have always been considered a central episode in the ritual of hospitality, because the food in the social aspect is particularly symbolic. Rite entertaining guests is a symbol of initiation of basic life values, met with his people, establish friendships and trust between him and the owner. This ritualized situation is reflected in the paremiological level of Russian and French languages, which confirms its prevalence in these cultural tours.
