Semantic-system and cognitivе potential of a word in lexicographic representation (on the material of the lexeme servus "slave") in Latin language)

The paper suggests the results of the observation of the semantic field of «slave» in Latin and its complex structure with polysystemic relations between elements. The involvement of the lexicographic data has allowed us to reveal the universal and nationally specific features in the field content, which are and additional source for the cognitive evaluation of this fragment of the ancient linguistic worldview.
