Family values of university students in the republic of Buryatia

The article studies the value system of students in the Republic of Buryatia, in particular, the family values. The issue is particularly relevant to this region as there is a high level of divorces in young families. The authors present the empirical research revealing family values of students and their views on the future model of the family. According to the findings, it is concluded that: parents' family as a socialization agent does not form sustainable orientation on traditional family values; family still retains a leading position in the system of life values of students.
