Semiotics, artificial intelligence and the preservation of cultural identity

The article is devoted to the problems of artificial intelligence developers using data sets related to local cultures, their processing and further use for training new generations of neural networks. It is noted that neural networks can become a tool with which one can taboo (defame) cultural codes and elements of traditional cultures. This new reality dictates new requirements for the representation (popularization) of local cultures to the world, so that they are not forgotten, ignored or distorted. In this regard, one should carefully treat materials that reflect local cultures and increase the volume of their presentation on the Internet with a selected description of images reflecting elements of national cultures.
