The semiotics of contact at "Za rubezhom" of M.E. Saltykov (Shchedrin)

The article is devoted to the specifics of communication in the book "Za rubezhom" of M.E. Saltykov-Shchedrin Communicative acts are realized either through plug-in constructions (a play-dream about a boy in trousers and a boy without trousers, a dream about a Pig talking with the Truth), and in episodes with the traveler himself. The organization of the text is atypical for travel literature, in this connection it will be interesting to analyze what place the establishment of contact in the travelogue takes.
