The article deals with the sensory training with the young age children as the cultural practice. There are described the peculiarities of the development of the object-oriented activities at young age, there is occurred the sensory development in its context. The author underlines the specific features of the work of the sensory systems in the process of the sensory training with the use of the sensory box. There are given the examples of the tasks stimulating the work of the sensory systems.
