Sensitive periods of the development of motor abilities and skills in young hockey players

The article presents the materials of the study, within the framework of which the sensitive periods of the development of speed-strength and complex-coordination qualities were determined, allowing to show specific for hockey motor abilities and motor skills in children aged 8-12 years. The aim of the study was to identify favorable periods for the development of the necessary motor abilities and motor skills in young hockey players. The article presents the results of the analysis of software and methodological support for the training of 8-12 year old hockey players, as well as the conducted pedagogical experiment. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility to optimize the longterm process of training the sports reserve in hockey.
