The scientific article is devoted to the development and creation of an effective technical means for post-harvest processing of grain. The scheme of the proposed laboratory installation is described in detail. The technique, instruments and limits of measurement of various factors in the experimental studies of the flat sieve, performing transverse vibrations. The criterion of optimization of technological process of grain separation - completeness of separation (έ) is accepted. Selected reasonable symmetric orthogonal compositional plan of second order with four factors for conducting a multi-factor experiment planning. The results and analysis of experimental studies of a plane sieve performing transverse oscillations are presented. An adequate regression equation describing the process of grain separation was obtained at the 5% significance level. Presents the graphical dependence of the completeness of separation of the grain from the parameters of a flat sieve, makes lateral vibrations, you set the values of specific load, and the impact of the most significant factors on the completeness of the separation...
