Network-centric model in tourism industry management

The article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of the new approach to the management of tourist destinations. Namely, network-centric management model. The model is based on the use of modern information technologies and network organization of information exchange destinations with consumers of tourism services and marketing organizations. Networks are considered as “clusters” or aggregation structures consisting mainly of small and medium tourism enterprises. The principle of self-synchronization in a network-centric management of destinations considered. The concept of “tourism and recreation attractor” is introduced and justified. “Borrowing” strategy in the application of innovations diffusion and advanced tourism and recreational technologies mechanisms in tourism industry of Russia regions is justified. Multinetworking scheme innovative development of tourist and recreational areas including educational segment is proposed.
