The article considers issues related to the development possibilities of the Northern Sea Route and the transition of its operation to a year-round format. The main direction of development of this logistics highway is the intensification of trade activities, which in turn will allow all parties (participating in the formation of infrastructure and logistics) to increase their economic potential. Today, the Arctic and the infrastructure of the Northern Sea Route are already attracting the attention of investors, and further strengthening of trade activities requires overcoming those barriers that have a negative impact on the development of cooperation in the Arctic space. The article is aimed at identifying the most pressing problems and describing ways to overcome them.
