High-tech: contemporary Russian realities

This article analyzes the development of industrial structures in Russia, the greatest attention is paid to new technologies. It is noted that the main task of the economy at the present stage is the formation of innovative systems. Industrial clusters as one of the high-tech systems implementation, provide innovation through both components and manufacturing equipment as well as to create the final product. Using analytical methods, the author comes to the conclusion that further development of centers of excellence system with modern scientific experimental and high-tech equipment, the development of research activities on the basis of international research class “mega-Science” projects.
