The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SHOC) as a form of interstate association of sovereign states

The article briefly analyzes the history of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, considers the interaction of the member countries, defines their goals and objectives, names some international agreements, and, taking into account the current political situation, identifies the necessary prospects for the development of the SCO. It is concluded that at present the SCO acts as an effective instrument of regional economic integration and cooperation, is a means of economic and political influence in the Central Asian region.
