The wool productivity of sheep depending on the level of bioelectric potentials of biologically active centers

Бесплатный доступ

We experimentally studied the bioelectric potentials of biologically active centers (BPBAC) of the young ewes and rams of the North Caucasian breed at the age of 6 to 8 months. We found that sheep of different breeds possess different levels of the biopotential of BPBAC allowing to check quantitative and some physico-technical characteristics of wool. A high level of biopotential of BPBAC in hybrid females of 6 and 8 months of age was in direct correlation with the indexes of wool productivity. A lower level of biopotential of BPBAC in young males is associated with high rates of the wool productivity.
