Shibboleths and their typology on the example of US linguoculture

The article deals with the identification and description of the main types of shibbolets. The author gives the concept of shibbolets. The features of the functioning of phonological and lexical shibboleths in American speech are characterized. The prospects for further development of perspectives of the study are being analyzed.
