The article describes a hybrid algorithm for encrypting fingerprint images using tent chaotic display and DNA sequencing methods. In this method, first, the original image and the chaotic display are encrypted separately using DNA sequencing. The logical XOR operator is then applied to them and an encrypted image is created using chaotic systems. The purpose of this study is to provide a way to encrypt fingerprint images to improve the security of transmission and confidential use of information, which was first considered in this study using chaotic and DNA sequencing. Additionally, research on the application of image encryption algorithms with mixed DNA operations and chaotic design is being conducted.
