Phytotoxicity index of ALS-inhibiting herbicides in sunflower

Nine-score scale of phytotoxicity for PULSAR herbicide in relation to imidazolinone-resistance sunflower hybrids allows estimate quantitatively the crop injury in 12-14 days after the plants treatment. Russian sunflower hybrids Imidzh and Arimi possess the same level of resistance to PULSAR by comparison with the best foreign hybrids. All imidazolinone-resistant hybrids sustain the maximum of one doze (50 g/ha rate of application of imazamox) and double doze (100 g/ha rate of application of imazamox) of PULSAR showing moderate tolerance regarding phytotoxicity index.
