The main reference points of modernization of Russian education are the individual and personal development personified trainings. Domestic higher education institutions have a task of high-quality vocational training of graduates, who are capable to compete in the Russian and foreign labor market. The quality of high school education depends on the first-year students. They have to create innovative ways of cooperation with recruiting prospective students, to organize events for attraction and further development of talented youth. The research objective is creation of consulting conditions, organization of mentoring system for potential prospective students of the Yugra State University in 45.03.02 "Linguistics". The article describes the functioning of Tutoring School on foreign languages as an effective form of cooperation of teachers and students with educational institutions of Khanty-Mansiysk and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Authors tell about organization of mentoring system, mechanisms and instruments of interaction with talented youth. The result of Tutoring School work is information spread leading to them selecting 45.03.02 "Linguistics" as major, involving prospective students, their introduction to the environment of a higher education institution.
