Russian language textbook changes in the years of 1938-2015 (based on the material of textbooks for elementary schools)

The structure and subject matter of new and old textbooks is similar and dictated by the logic of the subject under study, but the material in the new textbooks is presented in a completely different way than in the old ones. The difference between the textbooks of the previous years is noted in the approach to the presentation of the material and in the content. Everything is different: the language of textbooks, methods, rules, forms and texts of exercises, graphic design. All modern textbooks are dominated by a phonetic approach, and the explanation of spelling in some cases is based solely on it.
