Similarities and differences of English and German languages

The article compares two foreign languages (English and German), namely their similarities and differences. It can be traced that both languages are related in their origin. Particular attention is paid to the analogy of grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation of English and German. At the end of the article, the author comes to the conclusion that, despite a number of similarities, both foreign languages are independent and very different languages.
