Treatment of complications of cataract with corneal opacity by modern methods

The technique of surgical treatment of cataracts is constantly being improved, but today it is not without a number of complications after surgery, which are accompanied by a repeated, significant decrease in vision (secondary cataracts, retinal cyst dystrophy, etc.). Secondary cataracts are the most common complication after surgery. surgical intervention and continue to develop after a successful operation. The frequency of its occurrence ranges from 3 to 87%, therefore, if approaches to the prevention and treatment of this pathology do not improve, it becomes the second most important cause of blindness in the world after age-related cataracts. This article discusses the treatment of complex cataracts with corneal wilting by modern methods.
