This article contains a summary of the heavily profiled fibulae of the Almgren-87 group from the territory of the Kama region. All of them are associated with monuments of the ‘Pyany Bor’ archaeological culture. The fibulae of this group are currently dated to the 2nd half of the 2nd - beginning of the 3rd centuries. The territorial distribution of the finds is interesting. It is recognized that fibulae were produced in the Black Sea region, and widely distributed in the North Caucasus, the Don and in the Volga region. In the Sarmatian burial mounds east of the Volga and the southern Urals, only 10 specimens were found. A large series is known on the upper Don, among the Sarmatian and Sarmatized population. 8 specimens were found in the Kama basin. The circumstances of their transition to the Kama region are not very clear. In the 2nd half of the 2nd century, stable ties between the Black Sea production centers and groups of Sarmatian nomads on the Volga were interrupted. However, contacts continued in the direction of the upper reaches of the Don. The territories of the upper Don and Kama regions are separated by large area, where only two finds are known: in the Nizhny Novgorod region and Chuvashia. A similar territorial distribution can be noted for fibulae Almgren-204 group. Probable entry routes to the Kama region can be discussed after their comprehensive assessment.
