Symmetries of string and m-theory

In this work we consider non-abelian U-duality transformations that provide a symmetry of M-theory vacua. These are solution generating trnasformation for 11-dimensional supergravity. Connections of non-abelian U- duality with other known generalized dualities in string theory is discussed.
