Symptoms of public consciousness regression. Mythological aspect

Public consciousness has dynamic characteristics and is transformed under the influence of popular myths that define ontological integrity. Their special importance is noted for ensuring the stability of public relations, the synchronicity and integrity of the world picture of different-scale actors. The peculiarities of the reproduction of mythologies that are significant for the stability of society predetermine regressive and archaizing tendencies in the state of public consciousness. The study presents the main factors and manifestations of regression caused by the degradation of the social myth reproduction. When considering the current state of social consciousness, cognitive difficulties are noted due to the chaotization of the myth for an individual and group actor. The conclusion is made about the non-projectivity of rationalized mythologies and regressive tendencies from the point of view of the systemic stability of the system of connections and relations.
