Symbolic side of marriage: evolution and features

The article presents main results of research of evolution of the wedding rites and traditions. By comparative analysis of content of ritual and symbolic features of marriage in three generations of residents of Perm was proved, that eventually the structure of the traditional Russian wedding is reduce, change and its content is more meaningful. The article presents recommendations for stabilize and resume the successful functioning of the family institution.
