Symbolic motives in the song tradition of the Eastern Buryats

Folk song symbolics preserves the experience of the past, reflects the objective world, phenomena and activities of the people. The analysis of the symbolic images in the folklore texts contributes to a deeper understanding of the worldview of the corresponding ethnic group. The symbolics of the songs' lyrics, as a part of S.Ts. Mansheeva's expedition material, expresses the value attitudes of the Eastern Buryats, their view of the surrounding reality.
