The article provides a comparative analysis of the symbolic meanings of color in the context of historical images and communicative properties. The authors trace the connection between the traditional symbolic meanings of colors in various national cultures and the modern use of color symbolism in various spheres of human activity. The article shows that in the language of color there are many universal meanings that allow you to overcome language barriers.
