The symbolical world of the floral ornament in the art jewellery

The article studies the art jewellery as a sociocultural phenomenon filled with art images expressing symbolical meanings. It is shown that the symbolization in art jewellery is caused by the change of the world outlook principles involving selection of expressive means of the art jewellery language. The author proves that the floral ornament as a specific symbolical structure plays the key role in creation of jewellery images in both archaic and modern cultures.
