Symbology of color in the structure of Buddhist thanka

In the paper the attempt to reveal general tendencies of color in a thanka is made. In Buddhist iconography symbol-ogy of color has great significance, every color has its own mood, sense and meaning, the structure of thanka corresponds complicated and profound concepts of spiritual essence in physical space; in a sense it is someone's symbol, and a symbol of his inner life.
