To date, a significant number of patients entering the endocrinology department are patients with diabetes, for whom the diabetic foot syndrome is the most common complication at a late stage of the disease. According to the International Diabetes Federation, the number of people with diabetes is steadily increasing. According to the data of the medical history of patients with diabetes, a retrospective analysis was carried out for 2014-2016, which allows to identify the number of patients with the underlying diabetes mellitus, to determine the age-sex structure, and the frequency of complication of the disease in the form of diabetic foot syndrome.
