Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. Recently, this disease has begun to be studied as a social problem that is becoming more and more urgent. This is due to the fact that there is an increase in the number of people suffering from diabetes mellitus, the chronic nature of the course of the disease, the development of various complications that lead to a decrease in the quality of life and a reduction in its duration. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), there are currently 415 million people in the world who have diabetes. By 2040, the number of people with diabetes is projected to increase to 642 million. [one]. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic non-infectious disease, the rate of growth and prevalence of which has reached the scale of a global catastrophe. Significant economic costs and social damage due to an increase in the prevalence of diabetes and its accompanying complications, high disability and mortality in this disease. Along with diabetic damage to the eyes and kidneys, the problem of the diabetic foot is of great importance [2].
