Burnout syndrome and some conclusions regarding its manifestation among police officers in a number of Latin American countries (part 1)

The article presents an analysis of a number of conceptual provisions devoted to the problem of professional burnout of police officers. Having summarized a number of the most significant theoretical conclusions of representatives of foreign scientific thought that are directly related to the topic of his research, the author pays special attention to the conclusions of scientific works devoted to the issues of professional burnout of personnel of individual countries of the Latin American region. According to the author, the subject field of the problem under study is of great importance in the activities of specialists of the psychological service operating in the system of the National Police of the Republic of Ecuador, and requires taking the necessary measures to minimize the manifestation of the syndrome of professional burnout of the personality of a police officer.
