The study presents a comparative analysis of Plotinus and Hegel’s philosophical views on metaphysical constructions. It identifies the common grounds for syncretic metaphysics of an ancient Neo-Platonism and the fundamental provisions of the Hegelian dialectic. The paper discusses the concept of The One, The Absolute, and The Good as the core categories of the syncretic metaphysics. The relationship between such categories as The One and The Good is examined on the basis of Plotinus philosophy that allows one to establish the relationship of the human being with the basic principles of the universe. The author outlines that the self-fulfillment of The Absolute (The One) in the systems under review is implemented during the interaction between ideal and material. The study provides arguments confirming that the rationalistic panlogism of Hegel includes the basic principles of Neo-Platonism mysticism. It is concluded that there are universal methodological principles in syncretic teachings.
