Synonyms as means to enrich the language of literature

The author investigates such problems as necessity of observing certain principles in choice and usage of suitable synonym in a text, the skill of the writer in this process, the contribution of individual-stylistic, derivative and metaphorical types of stylistic synonyms to the literary language, etc. The goal is reached as the author illustrates the above mentioned three types of stylistic synonyms through the samples taken from different literary works.
