Syntactic Concepts in Linguistic Research

In modern linguistics, the term "concept" has become one of the most widely and actively used terms. The article examines the situation with the interpretation of the comprehension of the term and concept of "syntactic concept". In light of the actively developed research in cognitive linguistics, the predominant emphasis was placed on the analysis of "lexical" concepts. At the same time, little-studied syntactic concepts play a major role in speech-thinking processes. At present, different points of view have emerged in the understanding of syntactic concepts, presented both in different linguistic traditions and in modern comparative-typological studies.
