The synthesis of ancient crafts in design modern materials

The article considers the problem of felting and production of cloth in the historical dimension of folk decorative-applied art, the author analyzes the traditional and modern technology of felt and cloth. Discusses the revival of traditional techniques of felting and the development of new technologies as a modern sociocultural phenomenon.
