Synthesis of folklore and stage dance culture at the present stage of development of higher choreographic education

The article examines folklore and stage dance culture, issues and problems of their interaction, special attention is paid to the possibilities of synthesis in the teaching methodology in the system of higher choreographic education. The role and signifi cance of the folklore primary basis for creativity and the stage embodiment of the Russian dance culture is indicated. The specifi cs of the application of folklore and stage approach in the interpretation of Russian folk dance are revealed. The authors of the article propose to consider project activity as a way to solve the existing contradictions between folklore and scenic approaches in teaching and creativity. Russian Russian Dance project model "Protect the beauty of Russian dance!" is proposed in the article, aimed at consolidating the professional choreographic community, creating a dialogue on the preservation of the Russian dance tradition and the search for new forms of its development.
